Our UK Service Engineering division is headed up by our Director, David Haslam. David has spent over ten years recruiting in the service sector, and has a proven track record, placing over 500 Engineers in to companies which operate in the following industries: Automatic door, industrial door, gate & barrier, lift & escalator, fire & security, HVAC.
US Entrance Systems: Our US Entrance Systems division is headed up by our Senior Consultant, Conor Chamberlain. Conor has over five years of experience recruiting within the entrance systems industry. Moving into the US market at the beginning of last year, Conor has been able to seamlessly apply our process driven, proven system to the US market achieving remarkable results.
US Elevator: Spearheaded by Recruitment Consultant Richard Hope, a seasoned expert with prior experience in the UK elevator industry. Richard transitioned his focus to the US market in late 2023, demonstrating early success and a commitment to establishing TDRS as the top supplier for elevator companies in the US.
We believe the relationships that we have with our clients are the foundations for a smooth transition throughout the recruitment process. A solid relationship can be the difference between landing your ideal candidate or watching them go to a competitor. We believe that by working together as a partnership, we can ensure that our clients get the best possible service.
Focusing all of our efforts in such niche industries means we get to hear the latest news in the market quickly, therefore, we know when and why to target specific companies. Having such strong networks in our chosen industries allows us to reach these candidates much faster than our competition.
Over the years we have built a comprehensive database which consists of service engineers, installers, service managers, installation managers, coordinators, planners, project managers, surveyors, estimators, directors, and more. Our Database is constantly being added to through various means of sourcing such as job board searching, advertising, LinkedIn, Facebook, other social media platforms, and most importantly referrals.
The majority of our database has been built through word of mouth. We believe when working in a small market, referrals are the lifeblood of our world. Usually, the first thing that a company will do when they need to fill a job is to exhaust their “who do we know” list before taking the next step of posting an advert or going to a recruiter. We are no different however, our database is constantly being added to all day, every day. We are in contact with thousands of individuals in each of our chosen markets. We really look after our candidates, and our ongoing relationships with them make them feel comfortable enough to refer individuals with the required skillset.
A lot of recruiter’s rely solely on buzzword searches and placing adverts onto job boards in the hope that the dream candidate will fall into their lap, it works sometimes but in reality it can’t always guarantee success. For us, the job boards are important but, we rely on the ongoing relationships with individuals from our chosen sectors which we have built over a number of years. When we have a position that fits an individual’s expectations we will go through our talent pool and approach the candidates which we know have the right skill set. These long-term relationships reduce the risk of competition from other companies and agencies meaning a much higher chance of hiring the candidate which you really want.
